Class Description: Come get your hands in clay and experience the joy of making something functional and beautiful from scratch! This one-time workshop introduces students to the art of hand-building ceramics, focusing on creating a functional piece such as a cup, plate, or small bowl. Through techniques like pinching, coiling, and slab building, participants will learn how to shape and personalize their own ceramic piece. You’ll also explore surface decoration through texture and carving. The final works will be glazed and fired after class, ready to be picked up later. No experience needed — just bring your creativity and curiosity!
